430 has strong corrosion resistance in oxidizing environment, but weak corrosion resistance in non-oxidizing acid and activating solution, and can only be used as a corrosion-resistant material for equipment used in the manufacture of acetic acid.

Intergranular corrosion resistance, ferritic steel grades C and N have lower solubility than austenite, and because Cr, C, etc. diffuse quickly in ferrite, carbides are easily formed, so they show intergranular corrosion characteristics and austenite. Stainless steel is different. The sensitization temperature range of 1Cr17 steel is around 400-600 ℃, and sensitization also occurs when exposed to high temperature areas above 1100 ℃. In the stabilization treatment in the temperature range of 700-800 °C, the Cr generated during the formation of carbides is depleted, and the sensitization disappears due to the re-diffusion of Cr.

In terms of use, it is mainly used in chemical equipment for the production of nitric acid and ammonium nitrate, such as heat absorption towers, heat exchangers, acid tanks, etc. Sheets are widely used in building interior decoration, daily office equipment, kitchen equipment, electrical products, etc.
